Q: iSight Camera Not Working on Maverick OS

If you are under warranty and/or have AC, did you ever report this to Apple? If not, why not?
Please detail ALL you have done so far in the way of troubleshooting? Need this info to avoid the been there done that scenarios.

((Over time, Apple has changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD." Regardless of the name of your Mac's built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.))
