Can anyone help me unlock this phone?

I recently bought a Sprint iPhone 4S. I live in Australia and want to use it on Telstra prepaid. Does anyone know how I can unlock it for Telstra?

Maybe if I put the Telstra sim in before I initially turned it on?

Only Sprint can unlock it. If you're unable to unlock it through them, sell it.
