I finally connected to the internet via TC but lost the capacity to print to any of the printers

Reset the TC to factory and redo the setup..

Delete the printers from the computers and redo the install of the printer.

Any time you do a major network change you will need to clear out most everything and start over.. The apple routers seem to hold old settings and not give them up without a full reset.
