Alarm Volume vs Ring Volume

I hate how the alarm & ring volume are set the same.

I like my alarm on the 2nd quietest setting, so it only wakes me up, not my wife. When it's quite in the bedroom, I don't need much volume to wake me up.

But then I keep missing calls as I don't hear it ring (I never remember to turn it up everymorning, or when I do, I forget to turn it back down when I go to bed and get blasted in the morning).

Surely a phone this good should be able to handle 2 volume settings?
