diesel vdub, despite an excellent screen name 😉 (I have a TDI), is wrong about this, if you mean does it move the cursor to the next episode in the menu, ready for you to press Select.

My ATV3 does go to the next episode in the menu automatically, even if that means loading the next season of a show.

But if you mean will it begin playing the next episode without any press on the remote on your part, diesel vdub is correct.

vdub, did you see that I edited my reply when I realized she may be asking if the ATV can play episodes continuously, one after the other?

If so, there is, as you said, no such function on the ATV.

I'm not aware of any setting on the ATV 3 or in Netflix that makes the menu cursor move to the next epsiode; it "just works," at least on mine. This function appeared at the same time that the Netflix app began displaying a bar next to viewed items showing how much of it you watched -- around the time of the Nov. 11 interface update.

The auto play feature is controlled by the Profile setting in your netflix account (accessible through their website). An odd place for it...

netflix.com-->log in -->Your Account -->Playback Settings -->Preferences-->Play next episode automatically.

It's general to the account, so you can't pinpoint a single device within the account to auto play or not auto play on.
