Q: iPad and iPhone will not send email saying yahoo password is wrong.  I have tried entering the password and  it does not "take."  What can I do?

Delete the email account, then re-enter the email account.  This often cures the problem you are experiencing.

If it was working before, maybe the mail server is down.

I'm having this same problem. I deleted my account and tried to add it back but it's still the same problem.. I just ended up getting the yahoo mail app.  :/

Yahoo has been having many email problems this last couple of weeks. There is nothing you can do about it.
