You can't - ARD Client is installed in base OSX so it's there, and like the Chess app it's there whether you use it or not.

Personally I'd just run the update and then forget about it.

I guess this should be classed as a differrent issue.

I want to stop update notification for Pages. I use Pages a lot but I do not want to update to the newest version.

Every day I get the update notice.

I like getting update notices but need to be able to turn this one off if possible.

Yes, that's a different issue, not related to Apple Remote Desktop. Try asking in the forum for your version of Mac OS X.
