The disc can’t be burned because communication between the computer and the disc drive failed (error code 0x80020022).
Hoping someone here can help - never posted to a forum/discussion board, so please let me know if more information is needed, or the manner that I'm going about this is incorrect.
When trying to burn photos (well under the DVD's memory limit), I get this error:
The disc can’t be burned because communication between the computer and the disc drive failed (error code 0x80020022).
Every suggestion as to how to burn a disc has been tried and hasn't worked at all. Now, I have burned photos using this drive not too long ago; in fact, was probably the last time it was ever used (a couple of months ago or so?) - and was as easy as burning a disc could be, so I'm curious - and somewhat desperate now - to figure out what's changed and why it will not work anymore. I'm not sure if this is a misfire between the computer & drive, ,or just a problem with one or the other device. Anyone that could please help, I'd be very grateful.
