Pages 5.01 misshandling TOC generation for you?

I have a TOC that must be in one section of the document numbered i, ii, iii etc. The body of the document must be numbered 1,2,3,etc. The TOC lists the first two titles in the body as i, ii and the next one as 3. It should have listed them as 1, 2, 3 since I set it to restart the numbering for the section.

I have attached an image of a simplified file that shows this behavior.

I'm using pages for my dissertation. Please help me figure a way around this if there is one.

I'm having the same issue. The first two elements should be lowercase roman numerals while the rest should be standard arabic. I am trying to write my thesis.

Just another bug in Pages 5, along with the 90 features removed from Pages 5.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

Archive/trash Pages 5 and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

That isn't possible. There were longstanding defects in '09 that made it so I have to use pages 5. One of these was a failure to export to Word correctly. Sometimes it would fail to export to Word at all.

I have been very pleased with the current layout and options for 5.0.

This is fixed in Pages 5.1. Remove and re-add the TOC and it will number correctly.
