iPad Air Finance

Purchased an iPad Air on finance on the 3rd of December, was accepted automatically but still no word on delivery, I saw the last day to order for Xmas delivery was the 11th and am worried it wont arrive in time for Christmas. Has anyone else ordered on finance, how long did it take for your item to arrive and did you have any word from Apple before that point? I contacted Barclays who provided the finance and they said they had confirmed with Apple at the same time as they had with me and it was down to them from there on out.
