How to use Massive in Logic Pro X?

Hi. I have been using Logic Pro X for a little while now and am vaguely familar with some of it's features, but I just purchased Massive and wanted to learn how to make dubstep music. I have made a bunch of cool presets, but I was wondering how I can get the effect to change pitch, speed, etc inside of the song. Some of the effects I make have a nob at the bottom that you can play the not and it changed the way it sounds, which a lot of people in dubstep use, but I just don't know how to make this happen in my song. I'm assuming it's some sort of automation, but I can't figure it out.
I was also wondering how to automate things like pitch bend in a song. There is an option to use pitch bend in the Logic keyboard, but I wanted to know how to manually add it into a song and tweak it 😀 Thanks so much!
