Aperture not working on G5

Hi,

Don't know if anybody can help with this, but I have loaded my copy of Aperture 1.1 on to my G5 and I get the error message that I can't use it on this version of OSX. It worked fine (if slowly on my Macbook G4, on the same version of OSX), I have run software update and it did update it for 10.5.8, but it still comes up with the same error message.

The G5 is a power pc 2.7Ghz dual with 4Gb of ram.

Any ideas would be helpful.
