Ipad won't sync all of my music. Instructions on syncing manualy mention clicking on device button

in upper left hand corner of Itunes. I find no such button. Also saw someone mentioning clicking on device name

in left panel. also no such item. What am I doing wrong

iPad 2, iOS 5.1.1

If you want to click on the iPad name under the devices heading you have to enable the sidebar in iTunes first. From the iTunes menu go to View>Show Sidebar. The iPad name should now appear under the devices heading in the left sidebar.
