New Remote Desktop View?

I came across an article on another site (http://www.tuaw.com/2013/12/11/remote-desktop-update-brings-os-x-mavericks-suppo rt-and-improved/) that included a screenshot of Remote Desktop 3.7.1 as I've never seen it before. Can anyone tell me how to get to this view?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1), 2.3 Core i7, 16GB DDR3, Early 2011

Figured out you have to select multiple clients in the list view, then enter observe mode.

The original idea back in Mac OS 8 was that a teacher could monitor the students and also broadcast his/hers monitor so it's anything but new.
