I just received my iPad mini from my mother-in-law, as she never used it. I when I set up my email I have no trash option. I went to my setting to try & turn archive off & there is no option for that. I know that I did it with my iPhone 5, but can't remember how. I have tried everything that I can think of. Please help me get rid of the archive

Another option is to simply tap and hold the archive icon. This will bring up a dialog to archive or trash the message. This way, you have both options available.
I don't archive anything but it I good to know that I do have that option. Thank You!!!
