Q: Ipad overheating
I have had my iPad for the last 12 months, love it ! On the last two recharges, it has become extremely hot while recharging and I am wary of leaving it. Has anyone else had a similar issue or any advice they can give
Many Thanks

Hello JohnScottNeill,
Thanks for the question. The following aricle provides some information about warmth:
iOS devices: Keeping device within acceptable operating temperatures

When using the device or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get warm. The exterior of the device functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the device to the cooler air outside.
By all means, if you believe the temperature is a concern, you can isolate the issue by restoring your iPad as new:

Thanks,
