how to add currencies on the new numbers?

i want to add a new currenci missing in the new 10.9? how come there is no an option to do this??

"how come" translates to "why", which is a type of question that can't be answered by the application's users—the people you're talking to here.


Requests to add a feature (such as support for a specific currency format) are best addressed to Apple, using the Feedback channel. Launch Numbers, go to the Numbers menu, and choose Provide Numbers Feedback.

There isn't a direct option, but if you go to System Preferences -> Languages & Region and then select the region for which you want to add the currency, it will appear in the Numbers currency dropdown. If you don't want to keep that region as your default, set some cell in Numbers to have that currency, then change the region back. You'll lose the currency option in the dropdown, but the cell will keep its currency, and then you can copy and paste it.


This is in Numbers 3.2.2.
