Sync via Wifi to XP Virtual Machine

I wanted to know if there was a way to sync my Ipod Touch via WiFi to an XP virtual machine. I run my Apple software in a virtual machine and I can sync using USB no problem. I would like to be able to sync over WiFi if possible.

iPhone 3GS, Windows XP

When I connect via USB (and then have to click "Attach iPod" on the Virtual Machine) it works. It works when I start a sync from iTunes on the PC and also when I start a sync from the iPod under iTunes Wi-Fi Sync. When I disconnect the USB cable cable I loose the option to "Sync Now" on the iPod under iTune Wi-Fi Sync. I know that my virtual machine is using the wirless connection on my main computer because my virtual machine is able to get to the internet and there is no hardwire ethernet cable plugged in.
