I am disappointed with apple .my ipad will not let me sent messages to my daugther in australia I live in cape Breton Nova Scotia and if do not get a fix soon I will get another brand not apple

You are not talking to Apple here. We are all users trying to help each other.
What kind of device does your daughter have? Is is an iPad, iPod or iPhone? If not then iMessage on an iPad cannot and will not send messages to other devices.
User to user forum, childish threats mean nothing to us.
iPads do not do SMS messaging.
They have iMessage-which only works with other iOS devices or macs.
The person you are trying to iMessage needs to be registered with iMessages and have it turned on.
If you are trying to send SMS messages to a person who does not have an iOS device-find one of the dozens of apps in the App Store that offer SMS messaging.
Since iMessage works only on Apple products I imagine it would get even harder to send an iMessage if you chose another brand of device.
If u cannot fix my message on my I pad I am going to buy fro another brand and not apple
