Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com> Find My Phone.

thanks for ur reply .... the prob is ,the seller have forgot the password. evn the password reset not reaching the previous id ... its showing password reset has sent to the id , but the seller is telling he is not getting any reset mail from apple . m totally blank 😟
It's the sellers responsibility to remove their Apple ID from the device, if they haven't done this or can't do this, then you should ask for a refund.
