My macbook pro is suddenly running slow!!

My MacBook Pro (mid 2012) is suddenly running slow. Is started about a week ago.. HELP. I seen the **** loading sign more this week then I have done in a hole year! I don't know what to do. It seems like I have tons of free space and it should work properly!

Do you have any suggestions? I should maybe mention that I am not a computer wise.
