I'm thinking of getting an iPad mini but there's a big price difference between the one with retina display and one without. I just wondered from someone who has one what difference it makes and whether I need to spend the extra £70ish
I have a iPad 4 with Retina and the picture is great. When Comparing it side by side to an older iPad it was a no brainer which one I'd buy.
You should have but please wait for next year!
Color tint issue!
Bc now many ipad air and ipad mini retina have problem about color tint like ""half whit half yellow" and will notice when using safari when reading some news with white background. mine also have this problem too and will replace next week.
I love the size and screen and I still want it.
If I got all yellow it will be fine. I can accept it but half yellow half white I couldn't.
That $100 price difference is not just for the retina display! The processor in the original iPad Mini is an A5, the retina display Mini has an A7 plus the M7 motion co-processor. WiFi recption is improved as well. Your call as to whter or not the much faster processor is worth the price, but I would say definitely!
Also, the original Mini is now only available in a 16GB size. If you need a biger capacity, your only choices are to buy used or buy a Retina Mini.
