Hello Everyone!
I've got a problem with AirDrop. I am trying to transfer files from my Macbook pro late 2011 OS X 10.9 (which includes AirDrop) to my iPhone 5 S But When I turn on the AirDrop on my two divices my macbook can watch the iPhone and the iPhone can't watch my macbook.
I have been reading articles on Apple Support but nothing and I also have been watching videos on YouTube but nothing!

From what I understand, they are two different types of Air Drop. If you go over to the side and search under "More Like This", you may find some further discussion about this. I'm not a Mac user so I'm not as familiar with it, I'm just passing on what I have read.
What you're doing wrong is assuming that AirDrop for the Mac and AirDrop for iOS can talk to each other. They can not. Air drop works from Mac to Mac, or from iOS device to iOS device. It can not be used between Macs and iOS devices.
Thanks KiltedTim. I thought that was the case, I just couldn't remember exactly what I read when another Mac user had posted something very similar.
What am I doing wrong with AirDrop?
