ipad doesnt charge

ipad doesnt charge

its i pad 3 and for about 2 months there was a 50% chance it charges if it doesnt i take the chrager out of the ipad and back in now it doesnt work at all unless turned of and there very verry slowly and i got new charger doesnt work its plugged to a wall not pc, and ive tried homebutton and turn on off button holding till it turns of. ive erased all still doesnt work ive went to friends hows to charge it doesnt work, i turn on and off doesnt work. is there any ideas please and thank you

First of all, are there any updates available for your iPad? If so, try updating it and then charge it again.

Check the ort on the iPad where you plug in the cable, I suspect your have some fuzz or junk in there causing a poor connection. Use a toothpick to very carefully remove any gunk.
