how can i transfer bookmarks in firefox from OLD iMac (last power PC, G5) to new MacBook Pro?

Q: transferring firefox bookmarks
Export the book marks and transfer the .html file by email attachment or whatever method suits you ex thumbdrive/ airdrop etc
Import to your new FF.
FF>Bookmarks>Show all>drop down-->Export
