How do I remove app that won't install or delete

Same thing happened to me. I am re-installing facebook app then suddenly my phone turned off and on and stucked on the apple logo. When i fixed it I tried to reinstall facebook again and it happened again. Now im so ****** off I want to delete facebook app and I cant delete it even on the settings. I am able to delete it but when I get back to home and turned to the settings, the app that I have deleted was still there. No matter how I tried it keeps on coming back. Please help me..

My app isn't on my home screen and it says I downloaded it in the Apple Store, it says "open" but it doesn't open. It only shows up in my storage settings and won't delete when I press the "delete app" button. I tried the logout of iTunes -> power off device -> and log back in method but it doesn't work.

I'm having a similar issue but my app won't disappear even after following these steps. The app is not on my home screen but it shows up in storage. if I delete it here, it reappears once I exit the screen. On the App Store the only option is "open" which does nothing.

I've tried all of the above as well and still can't get rid of them. They look as if they're getting ready to update, but they're not. The now also just have numbers instead of ref actual name of the app under them.

Neither signing in and out nor trying to delete through storage and delete apps worked for me because the app was seemingly in limbo and would not shop in alternative ways to delete it. So I went to the App Store and tried to download it again and it actually worked!

I tried that but they're not even showing on the list of apps there. This is what they look like on my iPad now

Try removing here:

Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete App/Apps

Try this:

1. Sign out of Apple ID.

2. Reset iPad. Hold Sleep and Home button down until you see Apple Logo.

3. Sign in to Apple ID.

on my iPad I went to settings>general>Storage & iCloud usage>Storage>manage storage. Open the app you want to delete and you will get a delete option.

I was looking to delete the Pages App that was stuck in waiting. I also discovered that I could see whether or not my Pages documents were stored in the cloud by following this path settings>general>Storage & iCloud usage>iCloud>manage storage.

This has also happened to me. And I can't find a way to get out of it, it says to keep on waiting but nothing happens. When I try to delete the app (oh by the way it's snapchat) nothing happens. HELP!

Yout don't have to do all of the signing out of the ipad think and resetting your phone, you could just go to storage and delete the app
