how to take back up of iPod on different computer

Hello,

I hv ipod classic 160GB which was sinced on my old computer. My old coputer has crashed down and hv lost whole data. I hv thousands of songs and videos on my ipod. I want to take back up of the same on new Macbook Pro before sincing it with Mac so that i can save all my data.

Can someone guide me on how to do it ??
