iMac running slow after OSX10.9 install

I have recently installed the OSX upgrade and find that my IMac is now running really slowly. Also shut downs always fail due to mail not closing and I have to force close mail before I can shut down.

Below is the Trecheck data. Any advice as to how I can speed back up and sort the mail issue out would be a great help.
