Pixma ip7250 printer does not work wireless

I have a Lap Top that works perfectly well with this printer, but I cannot make the printer work wireless with my iMac. It works ok with the USB connection.

Can anyone help?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9)
