iPhone 5S buttons

My iPhone 5S gold has sometimes being playing up, all buttons on the phone are unresponsive and the screen is the only thing that functions, I am only able to use the screen with the app I am on? Any ideas

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

Yes. This turns the phone off and everything works again until it does it again

Restore the phone from back up. If that doesn't work, restore as new. If that fails, take it in for service.
