Hey anyone have any advice on changing the key of a sampled loop ?
Right now it's a top line bass sample loop in g, how would I change it to c ? I've tried a couple ways with no success
Logic Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Select the region and use the transpose feature in the region inspector...
It is an audio loop though . And I tried time and pitch machine transposing it but the tempo of the loop changes also not just pitch .. Any suggestions
So I assume it is not an Apple loop? (If it were the transpose feature will work....)
If not, convert loops to Apple Loops to make things simple...
Ok so now I see transposition feature in the inspector window but it only goes 12-24-36 ect , how would I go semitones
I have converted it to an apple loop , but how can I transpose in small increments instead of 12-24-36 ??
Click and hold between the word Transpose and the drop down menu up/down arrows and drag up and down to select +1 or -1 increments...
