I have tried to install the HP driver but failed because my mac "does not meet the requirements" I am operating ver 10.9
Please help resolve this problem.

You can't install a Leopard driver for 10.5 on a Mac running Mavericks 10.9. You need to get a compatible driver for your printer. The current HP drivers package is Apple HP Printer Drivers 2.16.1. Or you visit the HP support site, locate the driver downloads for your specific model, then download the current driver.
