I'me using OS Mavericks. Nothing plugged in in terms of external devices. Running as admin. I can't figure this out.

That is a well-known error. You have installed something, that replaced a dynamic library in your system library by an incompatible version. This usually happens, when installing an older version of Final Cut.

The safest method to replace the missing library is to reinstall your Mavericks system. You can do that by booting into recovery and resinstalling on top of your current system.

Or if you have a backup of your system from the time, before you installed Final Cut or whatever corrupted your system, you can try to restore the missing PluginManager Framework from the backup.

/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager

But simply restoring the the system from the Recovery Partion would be safer.

Thanks for this info!

Aperture stopped working for me and gave me the same error message.

Dyld Error Message:

Reason: image not found

At first I threw away the playlist file, that didn't work. Then I reinstalled Aperture and that didn't work.

The file "PluginManager.framework" was missing from my Frameworks folder.

I went back into Time Machine and restored the file.

It works now!

Thanks!

Aperture quits instantly when I open it.
