Q: I Phone 5 "no sim card installed" trouble
I have an I phone 5 - not a new phone or a new account - have been getting a "no sim card installed" message and am unable to make calls/send texts - help!

The following was recommended by my carrier:
When on the HOME screen double press the HOME button to bring up the Quick Launch screen. Close all apps by flicking the screen image of the app up. When that is done reset the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. If the problem persists, get a replacement SIM from your carrier.
Now I did both of these, and it still showed NO SIM, so Apple replaced my phone.
