Dec 14, 2013 12:22 PM in response to lordtimeby stedman1,Do the words actually slide when you try to move them left or right?
If they do, a reset may help.
Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

May 24, 2014 12:48 PM in response to lordtimeby Magrat22,I resolved this by going into Settings - Privacy and disallowing the most recent app that I had allowed camera access. Once I removed access the video option came back straight away.

Sep 27, 2015 2:56 AM in response to lordtimeby andlopezz,Hi there, I had the same problem yesterday, on iphone 6 ios 9.0.1. I could no found the option, but funny was that today, I decide to find the causes of this and the option was there. Something is wrong or missing, that is for sure.
No restar, was needed. The only think that I did was, connect the iPhone to power source to charge the battery and like I said, this morning I unplugged the device and check for the video option and it was there.
Apple, please check this funny behavior.
Thanks.

Nov 7, 2015 7:49 AM in response to lordtimeby RandyOo,Had a similar issue. Video recording was stopping on its own, and then the video (and also slow-mo) options would disappear. By playing back a video from the photos app, I would get the options back again.
In my case, it ended up being an app called "Zoiper" that was causing the issue. After deleting the app, it never happened again! Wish I'd figured it out before my recent vacation...

Jan 2, 2016 1:45 AM in response to RandyOoby Brendan_Byrne,This was the same solution for me. Zoiper only needed to be terminated (closed) for the camera to show video and slo-mo again for me.

Jan 11, 2016 10:34 AM in response to Brendan_Byrneby busheyeyed75,Same for me with iPhone 5C on ios 7.1.2. Zoiper has it's own Settings - Select VIDEO - turned off Always Offer Video. Video option re-appeared on the Camera app.
