I have deactivated all of my devices from itunes match and readded 3 of them. But it still wont let me have over 5!!! I get this message....
"Including this one, you have authorised 3 computers out of your available 5"
Why do I only get 5 and not 10?

I suggest that you read this http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1420
You are permitted to authorise up to 5 computers to use iTunes but you can have up to 10 devices (including authorised devices) associated with you account.

10 devices = authorised devices + IOS device (iPhone + iPad + Apple TV)....
IOS device seem do not need authorised before use.
