How many tvs does Apple TV support

Do you need a separate router for each Apple TV you want to use? Do you need a network cable to connect to the ATV? My aim is to get rid of Comcast TV and phone and stick with just the internet access. Will I need multiple accounts to utilize ATV on all my TVs?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Build 11C74, 2.26 GHx Intel Core 2

Providing your network will take it you can have multiple Apple TV's on the same network. You will only need one account for multiple Apple TV's.

As for a maximum number of Apple TV's, it's not entirely clear, you might want to look at my article on this matter.

Just to clarify, that ATV does not support multiple TVs. One ATV is required for each TV. It is not a whole home streaming device. Also, the ATV does not provide live content, with the exception of some sports channels/apps on the device. Even then it is subject to blackout restrictions.
