I am having issues connecting my iPad via Bluetooth with my speaker. My speaker is brand-new and it recognizes every other Bluetooth device that I have except for my iPad. It is the Auvio PBT1000 and it says it works with IPad and IPhone but I cannot get them to pair. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

I'm having the same issue with my Retina Display iPad and brand new Bose mini. The speaker quickly pairs with my iPhone 4S. In Bluetooth settings the iPad just searches and searches but never finds anything. I do have the latest software updates.
Mine too. The iPad just searches and never finds my Auvio speaker. My Nexus 7 found it instantly and works perfectly. The Android also has a cool app for the speaker and Apple does not. What is up with Apple?
Try this. Unpair you seaker from you iPad and then pair it to you iPhone. the Speaker can only be paired to one device at a time. You unpair by holding down the first button (pause/play) until the speaker states it is unpaired. Then then pair it with you iPhone.
I suggest you contact the manufacturer for assistance. If BT is on on the iPad, it should find the device.

My Auvio won't pair after IOS 7 update, So sounds like it is an operating system problem not Auvio's. Still trying to get to bottom of it.
I have the opposite issue. Paired with iPad but my iPhone cant find it. Any way to force a recognition?
Thanks, I had turned it off but it took a couple of times of turning off and on the phone and speaker and then leaving the two alone to get to know each other!
I cannot pair my Macbook with Auvio device - I have both my iPhone and iPad paired and that works fine - I can alternate between the two - but cannot add the Auvio??
