Iphone 5 cant adjust brightness after changing screen

After I changes my iphone 5 screen I cant adjust the brightness on the screen. Auto adjust dont work neither. The phone is getting warm fast and draining battery fast. Someone please help me, could there be any wires etc. Disconnected?? Please help.... Thanks!!
