Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. You may be able to do a recovery mode restore, as described here:
iOS: Unable to update or restore
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If this does not work, any additional information you can provide about when you see the error, where you see it, etc, may be helpful.
Cheers,
- Ari

Jun 21, 2015 11:01 AM in response to ariel sby aniluc,Hello Ariel,
The first link you gave is not working. It's the same when I clicked "More Information" after the error 27 message appears in iTunes. The second link does not help either.
I really don't want to restore my phone to factory settings as I will be losing important photos from today. I really need help
Thanks,
Anita

Check for hardware issues
Errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 53, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
Your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
- Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
- Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
- Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
- If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
If you still see the error message, check for outdated or modified software.
If that doesn't help, it's a hardware problem. Make an appointment at the genius bar.

Jun 21, 2015 11:12 AM in response to KiltedTimby aniluc,Hi KiltedTim,
Thanks for the message. I have seen the one you posted and tried them, but none of the solution works. I have now entered the Recovery Mode and there is no way I can try to backup my photos anymore.
Basically my phone suddenly died while using the camera, and then when I tried to turn it on, it's stuck in the booting logo and shuts off before it can turn on.
I was trying to fix this by entering the recovery mode, but now I got this Error 27. I really need help.

Jan 13, 2016 1:54 PM in response to Mishymish71by MyPhoneHasDied,Has anyone found a fix to this issue? My phone has been behaving strangely and went to the white apple screen and now I can't update it because I'm getting the 27 error. Apple Support only suggests restoring now but I don't want to do that or I'll lose a lot of data and photos because I had issues backing up before this.
Anyone able to offer any help? I'm desperate!
