Sony Ericsson W810i with iTunes

I got a problem getting my Mp3's on my mobile phone. It's no a problem using bluetooth but then it takes serveral hours to transfer CD's to my phone. When I connect my phone using the USB Cable it will mount the internal memory of my phone but not the extra memory stick of 2GB (in disk utillity it displays it's 2 TB!?) When I try to format the volume it will report an I/O error? Can someone help me?

I'm not aware of any Sony phone w/iTunes. What model are you using?

Two random thoughts based on incomplete information:

1. export songs from iTunes to separate desktop folder. Try bluetoothing them to the folder detailed in the Sony instructions.

2. Accept USB transfers are slllloooowww

Cheers!

Maybe my header is a little bit misleading because my phone doesn't directly work with iTunes. But with a Application like "SyncTunes" you can Sync play lists with an mounted volume . The only problem is that the memory (the extra 2GB) in my phone won't mount? While The Phone's standard 32 MB Memory neatly shows up on my desktop. And I can! transfer files with Bluetooth but in comprising to USB2 this is very slow!

So my question is, why can’t my Mac read the 2GB memory in my Phone?
