an unknown error occurred loading this content + crackle

I have never gotten crackle to work. Always get the "an unknown error occurred loading this content" when trying to launch a video. Tried resetting my ATV2, didn't work. That didn't even allow me to access the activation screen. Looks like the Crackle App is broken for my account, so good thing Apple locked the ATV2 so that I cannot remove it along with the other Apps that require a cable subscription to run. I thought the point of Apple TV was to use an alternative to cable? This is getting ridiculous.
