My boys want the racing track but not sure if it's compatible. They were both purchased in 2012 but don't know what generation they are& it is a very pricy track & want to be sure it is going to work with their iPads.

Too bad they don't list those same numbers in the iPad information itself.
Settings -> General -> About
Gives model numbers that are totally different from the ones on that list.
My 3rd generation iPad "Model" is shown in the iPad is FC733LL/A

Thanks this actually helped me. I didn't know one has an ipad2 and one has a 3rd generation & they were bought 30 days apart at the same store same price .
