I bought a new ipad and want to give my old one to my daughter. If I delete things on my old ipad, will they erase on my new ipad? What if it is synced ..like when I read books? Can we share books on the iPads?
What do I need to do to it before I give it to her. She will have her own account.

Create a New User Account for each User.
Then Each user will have their own iTunes library..

SHARING iTunes MUSIC
She will need to get her own Apple ID and iTunes account to use with the old iPad. The old iPad needs to be restored as New.
Tap Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings.
She should now reconfigure it using her Apple ID and password, set up her own iCloud and Mail accounts.
