Full internet connection / nothing can run using it

Full internet connection through wifi/ethernet, cannot use anything that requires internet access. Ran DPS and get ping back from websites yet I cannot connect. Any help would be appreciated.

Your post is a little confusing. Using an ethernet cable you should be directly hooked up, if you have a service provider like Roadrunner, Comcast, or ATT Uverse. Now if you want Wireless you need a Wireless Router connected to the devise that is furnished by your Internet Service Provider. Note that every new wireless router has a step by step instructions on how to connect wireless that comes with the router. Besure you have named your Network and be sure you go to the icon 2nd from the left of the day date it is Airport Signal and single click it and it will show all the networks you are in range of and be sure you connect to yours and set up WPA-2 for security that will also require you to set up a username and password.
