So I have a Rocketraid 1820a v1.2 and a 3 x 300GB (old!) harddrive array and want to make a striped raid set to help speed up processing.
The disc utility only shows the main harddrive and the raid utility says this computer is not supported? running 10.5.8.
I have deconstructed and reconstructed to make sure connections are good and downloaded drive for the Rocketraid card.

This forum is for Mac Pro Intel, not G5 PowerMac.
And 1TB of fast array - unless those are 10K SCSI or newer WD 10K VelociRaptors there are better choices, not sure though how well or how much you want to spend - or not seeing you want to use old vintage drives.
