Purchasing and downloading problems in iTunes...

So I just purchased an album, and just as it was about to download, a window popped up saying that it could not connect to the iTunes store. Usually, this just means the music can be downloaded later. However, it's not anywhere in my iTunes or Purchased list on my account. I was charged for the album, but it seems to have completely disappeared...
