spotlight can't find certain files

I have an OpenOffice spread sheet that Spotlight refuses to show, yet I have others that are just fine. How can I force Spotlight to recognise the fact that a particular document actually exists?

If it is in the same location as all the rest, it didn't get indexed.

You could try re-indexing Spotlight for that folder:
