Google contacts and calendar suddenly stopped syncing. Worked perfectly to yesterday but suddenly all data gone. Help!

I have tried deleting accounts, and setting back up as both exchange and gmail accounts. Email works but contacts (and calendar) still won't resync. Yes, they are both turned on (green switches).

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

OK, I've solved it by doing a hard reset. All contacts and caledar info magically back in place. 🙂
