my powermac G5 won't install even with the original mac os x 10.5

I have this powermac G5 and I just got it from a friend with and empty HD intalled in it. I tried running Mac os X 10.5 but it fails just when it starts installing and it say I should contact manufacturer. I don't just understand I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. Can I someone pick me up from here?
